The Society meets on the second Wednesday of each month October through to May at 7.30 PM at King George V Pavilion, Walnut Tree Lane, Loose (opposite Loose Primary School). Walnut Tree Lane is on the left of the Loose Road (as you come away from Maidstone) immediately beyond the Walnut Tree public house and opposite Loose Primary School at the highest point of the Loose Road: if you start to descend you’ve just missed it. Do not go up Walnut Tree Avenue, which is before the Walnut Tree public house. Car parking is available on site. A modest charge is made for attendance to cover speakers’ expenses and the hire of the hall.
The walk around the village starts just near here in a fork road off Loose Road to the right in the direction of Loose and Linton.
